iPhone: Replace your 3rd Party Apps with these Equivalent Web Apps

Now that Apple has so generously removed my ability (for now) to install, run and delete applications on my iPhone with the release of firmware 1.1.1, I really miss them. It will only be a matter of time before someone figures out how to break the new encryption and get our 3rd party apps up and running. So, in the meantime, we are left with basically what we started with…custom apps through the web.

I figured that I would help out with a small matrix of applications equivalents that can be found on the Web.

Note: I will update this chart as I uncover others as well receive suggestions, so SEND THEM IN!

Hope you like these! Let me know of others:

Up to the release of firmware 1.1.1, there was increase activity of new and updated application being released for the iPhone, so not all of the apps in the repository are reflected in the list above. In fact, there are only a few listed, ones that I specifically used. I will ask some other iPhone users about the apps that they used and liked and will update this post accordingly.

HTD says: Hope we can get our 3rd Party Apps back soon on firmware 1.1.1 iPhones. Guess I will go play with the Wireless iTunes Store app…since it is new!
