Apple Has 16 New Products Planned for the Rest of 2026

Summary

MacRumors compiled Apple’s confirmed and expected product roadmap for the second half of 2026: iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, iPhone Ultra (foldable), new Apple Watch lineup, Apple TV 4K, HomePod mini, the new smart home hub with a 7-inch screen, updated iPad models, and refreshed Mac hardware. At least 16 distinct products are expected before year-end, with the September event anchoring the consumer electronics calendar for Apple households.

Why it matters

Knowing the full Apple product timeline helps you decide whether to buy now or wait. If you are sitting on an older Apple TV, HomePod mini, or iPad, the second half of 2026 has upgrades coming across the board.

HTD Says

Apple has a packed second half ahead, and if you have been waiting to upgrade anything in your home from Apple TV to iPad, the next six months are worth watching before you spend. But step into it slowly and with a clear budget in mind. Personally, I love the “ooooh shiny” moments and tend to gravitate towards new tech all of the time. But I have learned to just hold back and really evaluate what is a “want” versus a “need.”

I’m still on an M1 MacBook Pro workhorse. It’s solid. I take really good care of it but I also push it hard. Eventually, I will upgrade, but since component craziness is driving up prices, I’m going to wait a cycle or two more. As people evaluate their own tech stacks (at home or at work), they should truly focus on needs rather than wants. If it’s broken or truly impacting your productivity, budget for an upgrade. If it’s just to get the latest and greatest, make a business case for yourself.

Apple will do its best to make you think you really need the new products they are releasing. Steve Jobs was a master at that. And a majority of the products they release are truly compelling. Just remember that as soon as something is released, a newer (and hopefully better) version is right around the corner.
