The Pixel Watch 5 leaks look promising on paper, especially the battery upgrade on the 45mm, and Tuesday’s Made by Google event will tell us whether Google finally fixed the one thing that kept most people from recommending it over the competition.

One thing I have always loved about Android smartwatches, compared to the Apple Watch, is that they embraced a round face from the beginning. Apple Watches were always square. I know I typically focus on the tech behind the interfaces, but design is also key.

Battery life has always been an issue with these types of smartwatches. My (older) Apple Watch Ultra 2 needs charging about every day. If the Pixel Watch 5 has a 40-hour battery life, that would be impressive. I will be interested to see the reviews.
