Netgear Meural Canvas II

Netgear Meural Canvas II

It’s rare for my wife actually to be “wowed” by technology. In this case, it was Meural’s merging of technology and fine arts that truly grabbed her attention. Now she can experience artwork from around the globe, displayed on an elegant digital canvas in our living room. From setup to viewing and interacting with the Meural Canvas, the education process is fluid and well thought out.

Setup takes only a few minutes to connect to your WiFi network. The most difficult task is choosing the best location for the Meural Canvas and then trying to choose from the thousands of pieces of art to display. The gestures (and the companion smartphone app) make interacting with the Canvas easy and fun. While the price may be a bit high for some households, when you see the features and how beautifully displayed the art work is, and couple that with the annual subscription for the works of art, the Meural truly become the center of attention in your home, and well worth the investment. And since each piece of work has details available to view, it is educational for adults and children, making it much more valuable than a traditional picture frame.
