Apple buried a playable iPod on its 404 page for the 25th anniversary, and I have already lost 10 minutes to it. I think this is a great way to throw back to the iPod era. Somewhere, I have an old iPod. I think I even converted it into an external hard drive at one point. It was a revolutionary device that paved the way for innovations that led to the iPhone, which now dominates the market.

Apple Music’s Error Page Hides a Playable First-Generation iPod
Summary
Load a nonexistent page under music.apple.com and a working first-generation iPod appears with a click wheel. It plays 90-second previews from artists like Beyoncé, Coldplay, and Daft Punk, and a hidden Breakout game sits in Settings under About. It works only in a web browser, not in the Apple Music app.
Why it matters
The iPod turns 25 this week, and this is a free, fun piece of nostalgia that makes an easy social post or weekend share.
