Google turned its personal AI agent into something the whole family uses, and the daily briefing plus shared task list is a more practical pitch for household management than most AI assistants have managed. As someone who struggles with multiple shared calendars, tasks, and to-do lists, this definitely caught my interest.
Of course, you have to be part of Google’s ecosystem or figure out the best way to integrate your existing family or group workflows into it. And, of course, there is the waitlist to get on. But this is truly useful functionality. I’m not currently a CC user (and honestly, I’m not quite sure how I would do the integration yet), but I wouldn’t be surprised if copycat functionality comes out fairly quickly.
I would have thought this was something Apple could do pretty easily, with family sharing, shared Notes and Calendars, and the launch of updated Siri Intelligence. Something similar to CC is probably in the works.
