ChatGPT Work gained the ability to log into websites on your behalf and complete tasks while you step away, with one safeguard that matters: it always stops and asks before doing anything that costs money or cannot be undone. This is yet another example of a “convenience” feature that makes us wonder why it wasn’t available sooner.
OpenAI does flat-out say that user and password information is not stored or used for training. Always take this with a grain of salt. And I believe you can also use password managers, supposedly.
Regardless, assuming this also works in Codex, this will save me a lot of frustration when a site I’m working on locally times out and requires me, the human, to log back in.
